so the short of it is: as soon as you can make leather clothes, nothing else matters. stop killing your sheep. just keep buying raw sheepskin and turn it into leather clothes. make a massive industry out of it, and you can brute force the rest.

Okay, so the actual point to the herb is that there are a lot of items that trigger 'when a consumable is used' or 'when an item is destroyed', and you can generate a lot of herbs relatively easily.

would have literally preferred 'congraturation' to how the game actually ends

...is this guy not doing a bit?

So I ended up with 3rd place on the leaderboard, at least this morning.

A ton of potential here, honestly. I think the choice between 'hold onto this vowel as a word' vs 'actually use it for its purpose' is really interesting,  though I think the 'value' of words caps out at about 7 or so? I didn't see anything higher than artifact.

Also, % health is not nearly as worth it as flat health, which is..weird?

my guy, e100 is the current ice cap, you can't even get e108. it won't let you.

I haven't really toyed with that yet, I only really got around to trying it last night. I'd definitely love to see you be rewarded for making -fast- solutions as well as cheap ones, though.

Wow. This was actually really cool! I think it'd benefit from  being scored for more than just gold efficiency, because it allowed for some /really/ obnoxious  solutions, but I  was actually disappointed to hit the final puzzle--I really felt the last one was where the game encouraged you to prove you understood what was going on instead of just making an adhoc solution.

Straight up, I wish it was longer. This was a lot of fun, and a great way to spend the evening.

okay, beat the game with max friendship, this was, aggressively amazing? like i appreciate that you can either Make Correct Choices or grind more.

To save the rest of you grinding: You can Make Demands whenever your total gems is about 10x whatever the upgrade cost is. So go make demands down until everything costs 100. Go buy a 100 upgrade, go buy a 50 upgrade. now make demands again.

Repeat this until you can't make demands anymore, then go make a ton more gems and do it again. I recommend bouncing between the Park (because bazooka combos) and the Rooftops (because Sword Beauty can knock people off the edge)

eh, when I was already expecting to have to care about reflective surfaces for the rest of the game it was a bit concerning

When I hit N and M at the same time while doing the book puzzle it started playing dialogue I'd already seen before.

Also, with the mirror thing--it's reasonable to have that go off if I interact with the mirror. That's cool. Having it hinge on my 'not looking in its direction' is a bit ludicrous.

Figuring out how to get out of rooms is unreliable, and not indicated. Running around pressing things isn't fun.

Honestly, when I was told what the 'kill trigger' was, I certainly remembered the clock and kettle and thought it was going to be /those/ levels of frustrating.

Tried a few times now. Not sure if I've broken anything, because I've managed to get caught in the same dialogue loops a few times. Pressing the map while the phone is up makes things start to get real weird.

Not super impressed with a puzzle design of 'figure out what I was thinking of', honestly.

Wait. Wait, The devs of this game still exist? This thing was a tremendous part of my  childhood.

my guy nobody is saying everyone should have a mansion

we're saying it's nonsensical that we aren't providing basic needs for all of society, which we can do, easily, for the sum benefit of 'we're burning the world faster'.

So, uh, I got 'touch the flag' as my green rule, and 'touch a semisolid as my red rule.

Nothing I could do there.
